Department of Business & Management, National University of Tainan

Education Goal

Developing an international perspective and strong problem-solving skills.

The National University of Tainan was restructured from the former Tainan Normal University in 1999. That same year, the Graduate Institute of Technology Management was established to offer a Master’s program in Technology Management. Additionally, an industrial program has been available since 2007. In 2008, the Department of Business and Management and the Master’s Program in Technology Management were introduced to meet both academic and practical needs for global and local development.
Our mission is:

  1. To cultivate a high-quality higher education environment through student-centered, industry-oriented, and flexible program structures.
  2. To conduct impactful research and contribute meaningfully to our communities.
The Department focuses on marketing and logistics for high-tech products, as well as technology innovation and entrepreneurial management. We emphasize industries such as biotechnology, electro-optics, and other emerging fields. Our programs are designed in collaboration with industry professionals to integrate theoretical knowledge with practical application. In response to global competition, we also aim to enhance our graduates’ competencies by fostering international perspectives and problem-solving skills.
